WTB: 1" lift (front and back) for 4th gen

I am one of few that seems to like the factory rake!

I'm adding FJ TT Springs next week and keeping my xreas shocks. Just want to go up one more inch at all 4 corners. So something like the daystar lift I had on my old 4R would be great. Mostly for looks, but tire fitment is even more important.

Don't be afraid to speak up if you only have one half of the equation for sale! I'd rather buy from two people here than one random on eBay.

Have you thought about a simple 1" Body Lift? [MENTION=14772]shootmymime[/MENTION] can help you out to go that route.

Yeah bambam I can hook you up with a 1" body lift. It will keep the factory ride but just feel taller. Take a look at my 4th fat pats body lifts page. The link here at the bottom is to my 3rd gen. Click on that and on that page is a link to my 4th and 5th gen page.

Hey shootmymime is that a 73 Mach 1 in the background?? I am just south of you a bit in Lehi, Utah. My nephew and a lot of my former students live in Rexburg. I taught elementary school until two weeks ago when I took early retirement from breaking my lumbar spine, neck, and left leg. I've had 10 major surgeries and 58 interventional procedures and nothing has worked. Pain is horrrrrrible.

I'm trying to get my 4Runner to sit like my FJ Trail Teams models I had. I had done all of the geometry at one point comparing the Toyota 120's because the only vehicle I could drive more than about 10 miles without extreme pain was the Fj Trail Teams I had to sell. I got a good deal on this 4Runner (got it for the equity I had in my Fj and Tacoma so no car payment). Just trying to make it comfortable enough to drive my kid to football practice. I guess the springs should do the job and the extra inch either in day star spacers or the body lift are both just for looks and will ride the same then in your experience?

Oh and I asked about the Mach because I have a 72 Mach 1 with a 351 Cleveland in grabber lime green that I got back before I had to leave work and had some "for fun" income. I love that car. They are picking up value pretty fast!

Sort of. It's a 71. Yeah it sitting in my parents garage back in Missouri. They take it out once and a while when they want (couple times a year). 71 is right before they started adding emission to the Cleveland which eventually liked it and went to the Windsor. I also have the Cleveland.

Well that sucks about the accident.

So yes a body lift will not change the ride. Also the day star comfort will not change the ride quality ether.

So you might have to spend some more money and spring for a new suspension set up or softer shocks that are not real stiff.
