Hilux is a Taco correct? not sure if that would fit. Or are you looking for the company so you can find out if they make on to fit a 4Runner? I'd be curious to know more about this as well, thats a pretty cool looking lightbar

If memory serves the people that modified that hilux for them are some serious modders in Iceland. I am betting that is their proprietary bar. I am also betting that it isn't cheap.

they mention who did the mods on one of the hilux episodes, might be a good place to start looking.

its probably a one off custom bar then if it was some guys in iceland. Those guys do some amazing things to toyotas.

If that is the case you should find a fab shop and maybe get them to quote you, it looks pretty straight forward.

well, there ya go. $345 for the 4th gen 4Runner light bar. A rigid industries LED bar would look sweet on it.

problem is, not sure if I love it as much as on the Hi Lux..

I know what you mean but I think it might have something to do with the Hilux being fully modded out and the 4Runner in that picture looks to be bone stock so it looks kind of out of place.

The only reason I'm doing this is to mount my new KC long range lamps, for snowy backroads to Tahoe this ski season...

I am sure you can get some slick billet or rubber plugs to cover up those holes. Its a black bumper so must be easier to do so. I wouldn't worry about two tiny holes in my bumper, it's a truck, its going to see worse!

very true, mines silver but good point..

I was also thinking a bar would be an easier way to pull someone, or myself out of a ditch if needed

Doesn't look like Randy Ellis makes that last one for 4Rs.

BTW, I don't think I'd be pulling anyone/myself out using any of these bars shown. You need a bumper, front hitch, or the factory tow hooks for that. Even the first one posted would probably be ripped off by pulling someone out. If you look, you can see that he also has a semi-hidden front hitch I believe they attach a winch plate to.

I ended up just drilling and mounting my PIAA 520 ATP lights right to the top of the bumper. I was looking for a light bar, but said f-it, this will work for now. Looks good mounted directly on the bumper.

I just spaced them equal from the center and drilled the holes. Clears the hood perfect and gives me a little more light. They are surprisingly stable.
