That's what they told me every time I tried to have warranty work done.

Hayn4R said:yeah I am in that same boat as well. i cant wait to lift my 4R especially because there are no lifted 4th gen on Oahu yet (worth taking my note anyway). however, i just cant give up a fully functioning XREAS system. My general rule is that once something NEEDS to be replaced then I can upgrade (headlights, wipers, lift, tires). but at this rate, I think my XREAS has a loooonnngggg time to go. I only have 21k miles on it.
one quick clarification...so the only benefit of XREAS is most likely when I am taking corners at higher speeds....is this the jist of it?
if that's the case, i dont feel that bad ripping the XREAS out to fit some 36 inch tires with a 10 inch lift.
I believe my warranty runs out next year, and I just got a better job, so maybe just maybe, next year will be the year I taste a higher altitude =)
Until then, keep on rid'n

Hayn4R said:I too came to that same epiphany after I bought my 4R and discovered that all there is a girly 3" lift. I was depressed for a good......actually still kind of depressed about that.
How come they make a 5 or 6" lift for the FJ then. That lift looks good.
Hayn4R said:I still dont understand why they make a 5"-6" lift for FJ cruisers, but not one for 4R's. Correct me if I am wrong, but dont both vehicles share the same chassis and guts?
