Add another satisfied [MENTION=12905]XenonDepot[/MENTION] customer to the list. Since I'm trying to clone [MENTION=129593]MTN4RNR[/MENTION]'s truck, I did the HID kit and swapped the interior, license plate and puddle lights to the Phillips LEDs.

Nice! Extra lighting is always a good thing! It makes the truck look much more "classy" too, IMO :tea:

Installed mine the other day. Took about 20 minutes to install and another 15 minutes deciding how I wanted to hide the wiring. Ordered a step bit from Amazon for about $16 to drill out the caps. Upgraded 4300k bulbs

Your vehicle uses 194 / T10 bulbs for the front map lights, puddle lights, and door courtesy lights - 8 bulbs in total. Philips 194 LED bulbs are sold in pairs, so you would need to order 4 pairs to upgrade al of these applications to LED.

Your vehicle uses 3 x 3022 festoon bulbs for the centre dome light, and two rear hatch lights. You would need to order 3 of the Philips 3022 LED bulbs to upgrade those applications to LED.

Installed HID Phillips 4300k low beam kit tonight and very impressed.

I see the LED kit for fogs is 6000k, how does this look and has anyone installed LED fogs that match closer to the 4300K? Anyone used the H16 LED FOG LIGHT KIT from XD?

For the best color match, I would suggest checking out these Philips H16 LED fog light bulbs as they are rated closer to 5000k.

Installed the the Extreme HID Kit (4300K Philips bulbs) today. Extremely happy with the difference, both from visibility and aesthetics. Install was very straight forward as well.

Highly recommend this mod!

Just popped these bad boys in today:

9005 LED Headlight Kit [DRL Upgrade:With DRL]

H11 HID Kit | Xtreme HID [HID Color & Bulb Options:5000K]

Two questions:
1) Does the driver side LED high beam just need to be re-aimed? or did I screw some thing up?

2) I cannot get either DRL upgrade basalts to work. I tried reversing the polarity on the balasts, but that did not work. Any ideas?

OK I have no idea when I'm actually taking delivery of my new 4R, but based on the links I ordered LED bulb kits for the interior and LED bulbs for low and fog and turn and reverse for the exterior.

Hope the bulbs last awhile, not cheap but I've worked with cheap LED bulbs before and it's just not worth it.

Still cheaper than what I paid for LED bulbs for my kitchen reno 3 years ago! Quality PAR20 bulbs then were expeeeensive.

The bulb will only fit it one way, so make sure that you've got all 3 tabs locked in. It appears as if you may of only got 2 out of the 3 tabs locked in which would make the bulb sit at an angle.

Nailed it. Sure enough my passenger side high beam had one of the three prongs out of the fixture. Answering my own question, yes I screwed something up:redbrick:

Night pics after removing the jackass factor from the equation. I've changed several light bulbs on various vehicles and never had this happen... but I'm own up.

The beam spread looks way better in person, very even distribution of light. Threw in a close low beam shot as well. Pardon the bugs, its been brutal here lately.
