just updated the link for SBLED and added another source for non-SMD LEDs that should work in the info display area without having to do the 12v mod.

yeah, you test them by assembling it back together.

You can insert just the circuit board into the dash to test, very easy, push the 2 clips in the back, no screws or anything. I do it all the time when I have the vehicle to test! Know 100% it works, I have even tested other clusters in my 04 to make sure they work before sending back.

I keep wanting to do this but life and certain physical/mental problems get in the way. I happen to really like the factory orange so it sn't that big of a dal. Eer since I drove my buddy's Supra back in the 90's I just fell in love with the orange over the green on most cars. If I get to it I may just do everything in red with some appropriate highlights, reverse gear and the like where it needs to stand out. Too bad because of my issued everything I touch turns to crap lately. Afraid to change my own oil even. And I used to swap engines and whole drivetrains while in my 20's with no problems...

so is everyone pretty much getting their LED's at Superbrightleds? it looks like they are discontinuing the regular NEOx bulbs and only selling the high powered ones now. Are the hp's going to be ok, i herd people were having issues with these?

Takes about 2 weeks or so to show up from Japan, good quality, little tight but work great. Neo Wedge

Pretty sure I used a 3 or 4, for that price order a few extra of each. Also run the tip of bulbs over sand paper, helps distort the light!

oh they look different than the ones you have in your pictures. how do you attach these? looks like there is only one contact in the center of the back.

nope, same ones i use. they have a contact on either side. make sure you install with the polarity correct or they will not work.
