You folks with uniballs

How much squeaking do you actually get with Uniball UCA's?
How much maintenance to keep the squeaking away?
Do the top covers provided by some manufacturers help?

Why don't one of the high quality makers produce a UCA with a high quality ball joint, even if that ball joint is designed for a different vehicle?

No squeaking from the uniball(s).
I spray them with lube every other time I fill up the tank or after I hit them with a pressure washer after a wheeling trip.
I don't have the covers so I can't speak on those.

My bushings squeak a little after a few wheeling drips, just grease them again at that point really quick, and put some dry flow on the Uniballs about 1 time a month.

Well, yes ... But, everything I've read says that MOOG ball joint is greatly inferior to the stock ball joint.
I don't understand why someone can't put a good, heavy duty ball joint that will last into these uca's.

I went that rout for 2 reasons.
1 - I gotta deal.
2 - Less maintenance and squeaks.

I'm really surprised to hear anything negative about moog balljoints. I've been using their uppers and lowers on every man-sized vehicle I've owned. Lifetime warrantee that I've never had to use, the grease stays in the [heavy] boot, and they come with zerks.

I was pretty surprised to read that in so many different places also. MOOG chassis parts were the standard of the industry for ages .... but, production may have been moved to China?
