When you leave work to go get some lunch, and before you're out the door, you've picked out your 4Runner key out of your keyring, ready to stick it into the ignition.
You get in your vehicle, only to find out that you've driven your car today, so wrong key!
Not sure if that means a forgetful me, or my unconscious longing to drive the 4R haha.

Then relapse after two months, and immediately begin to move money around in your bank accounts and think about how big your tax refund might be so that a lift, bumper and rim/tire combo can be purchased in time for spring wheeling trips.

Lol, it is... I'm used to high speed pavement driving, and sideways driving steering from the rear. I came from a SR20DET powered S14 and this is my first true 4x4. I get into my sisters civic now and feel like I'm sitting on the ground, I don't know how I did it for so long.
I keep trying harder and harder trails, I find myself doing all kinds of wheelstands n stuff and I have to admit it's the lines I take and decisions I make that hold me back.. in the right hands I'm sure my truck would go farther than what I can do with it.

when you didn't know what an e locker was before buying it and now the first question is always "does it have the rear locker?"
when you know Highlander front mud flaps won't fit on your Limited.
when you realize every type of little plastic clip and fastener for your 15 year old truck is still available from the dealer, even the hood support grommet.
when on a friday evening your girlfriend gives a knowing smile as you start talking about your most recent upgrade or modification, because this is always the first thing you talk about once the evening has gone postcoital.
