Your Average Gas Mileage V6 AND V8 WELCOME

I looked for some type of poll and didn't find one and I had idea to create a 2 in one kind of poll so here it is. Kinda will be a comparison and a refrence.

2007 V6 4.0 4WD.

I average 17mpg.

My very best was 24mpg when coming back from Kirkwood ski/snow resort.

Must be the altitude.

I currently only have the 3.4 and get 17mpg thats why I started this poll, when I had my 4.0 Frontier I was getting 19-21 consistant.

On my 06 V6 4x4 I got 19 combined, now with my 07 V8 4x4 I get 17 if Im nice.

2007 V6 4x4 -- I average about 20-21 in mixed city/ highway but about 25mpg on strictly highway. The best I got was just over 26 from Moab to Denver.

Running average: 19.7mpg; best: 22.7mpg; low: 15.4mpg on regular 87 octane.

V6 4WD.

By the truck's own monitor we are getting about 21 on the highway (up to 22+ with a bit of a slope lol) and around 18 in the city.

Any input you guys have on the best MPG with cruise control on would be welcome.

~20 average in combined driving, 26 mpg is my best fuel burn (doing 70 mph, running 92 octane)

Oh, it's cool. I figured it might help you out a bit, wasn't trying to be a jerk. even though now that I read it, it sounds like that, sorry haha

I use cruise control set on 60-65, 24/7 b/c my my two main drives are straight highway about 20 miles apart a piece.

I avg 23 and have seen up to 24. on board says 25.5 +/- a few usually. who knows where it will go once I replace the filter, tune it up and clean the injectors :biggrin2:

My daily drive is so short, lileage numbers are meaningless.
Took it on a drive yesterday, all highway, and at cruise speed of 70, it got 19.84 mpg (measured at the pump).

Probably could have gotten over 20, but I drive very aggressively.
