I had another thread but titled it a stormtrooper build, then noticed that there are already quite a few of those out there...so I'm just going with a plain ol' thread

Installed a Console Vault for "item" protection (no my combo isn't 7-7-7):

OPOR Sliders from MetalTech4x4 arrived and off to get primed and painted:

As for the Bubba I went with the Renegade cause I love that OD Green color. Bubba's cost is a bit more but I have only heard good things about them so I splurged a bit.

Does your console vault clatter?

I've padded mine with foam rubber and insulation strips, but it still squeaks and rattles now that its gotten older.

Mine started to rattle after about 4months

I have a $1 bill rolled up and wedged in the front of the lid and has worked great with no more rattle for almost a year after

Funny you should mention that. My metaltech sliders are almost done being primed and painted...they should go on tonight or tomorrow morning and I will post some pics.

Other than that it's a waitING game for gobi to finish my rack....4-6 weeks seems like forever

Nope no glossifyer...just plain ol plastidip. Stuff is great!
