I'm not exactly sure what pin on the relay is pin 2. Does anyone know if you count from the wider side or the other side? I tried from the wide side by bending the pin next to the wide one down and it caused one side of the brights to not operate. Not sure what it did to the DRL because I didn't realize at the time that the truck had to be running for the DRLs to work. If the pin next to the wider pin is pin 2 then I know that the brights will not operate correctly.
Has anyone come up with a way to disable DRL and leave the headlight switch in auto or has anyone figured out this pin 2 or green wire mod?
I have added halo's and LED strips to mine that run independent of the DRLs but want to be able to disable the DRL yet still have brights and use the auto headlights.
It was very simple. I pulled the relay and instead of cutting pin 2 I bent it down and formed it so that the relay can still be plugged in. Now my lights work in auto without the DRLs on and my modified headlights, halo's and LED tubes look great.

Can you pull the relay, take the best photo of the pins on the relay and repost it here?
Here's another pic, this is the relay showing pin 2 bent and formed. I'm not sure what you meant by the other question but I can tell you everything works now except for the DRL. The brights work the flash bright works and all other light functions. The auto works as designed and all other switch positions work as designed.
