01 Pillar POD

I'm getting ready to order some parts for my trans cooler. I'm wanting to put a temp gauge on the pillar but seem to be missing something. The single POD I'm finding say they'll work on a 95-00. Why wont they work on an 01? I'm come across an Autometer (15411) 95-00, Lotek only has a double POD, and that's all I'm finding.

They should work on all 4runners. That year is for tacomas because they went to a different style a pillar.

I would wait till someone else chims in though, I do however do not think there was a change in pillars for 4runners.

no problem - if you decide to go that route, all I did was trim ~1/4 to 1/2 inch of material back on what will be the front lip that tucks into the trim next to the windshield. It comes with some mounting material, but I went ahead and just used 3M double sided tape

I dont't have one of what I cut off, but I might have a photo of the finished product... I'll have to look when I get home

That's what I'm after. I'd like to see what it's going to look like before I spend the money.
