I have always been a member of the forum but I finally decided to create a build thread of my own. I have had my 4-runner for about 4 years now. When I bought the 4-runner it was completely stock, 2 owner, and it had 193,000 miles. This is my Daily Driver and it currently has 225,000 miles. Since its my daily driver, i'm shooting for a weekend off road vehicle while still being economical and practical as a DD.

Added more Lift

Sorry, right now I'm a little out of order with my mods, I'm just trying to catch up.

Before Lift:

Bilstien shocks were adjusted to the top notch and 1.5" Rear block lift and Airbags were installed


Rear Lift and Airbags

I cut the bump stop off completely and this is how I installed the airbags in the spring



I mounted the air nipples behind each mud flap, I didn't use a T connector because i wanted to be able to adjust each air bag in case a load was heaver to one side

Off Road Lights Install

So I installed the 6" IPF Off Road lights on the Brush Guard

the harness that came with the lights was a plug and play harness:

I mounted the relay next to the battery for easy access:

Since I wanted to turn on these lights anytime I wanted, I used a fuse tap and tapped into the dash lights fuse instead of tapping into the high beam lights


I didn't like the cheap switch that came with the lights so I cut the wire to that switch and I bought a GB Rocker Switch, it took me awhile to figure out the wire combinations but I finally figured it out

I used a 90 Degree coax connector so I could mount the CB further in the dash
