102" whip for cb, anyone use one??

I'm buying a cb antenna tmrw, either a 48" tuneable fiberglass or the whip from radioshack. I know everyone runs the firestick but i dont have one locally to buy and the radioshack antennas have great reviews. As far as function goes, a long whip will out perform any fiberglass antenna, but at the expense of being gangly. Has anyone seen or used a whip on a third gen? I have my sweet little antenna mount on my rear bumper and figure I could tie the antenna down on the roof rack for every day driving.

A 102" whip is the best since no tuning is required and they can also be used as an AM/FM radio antenna in remote areas but are too big for a lot of people. If you want to see a good selection of CB antennas drop by any Love's truck stop and check them out. They have quite a big selection and they aren't too expensive either.
