1999 4Runner Limited Stock foglights not working

I have a 1999 4runner and just recently my fog lights are not working. I checked the fuse it is fine and i highly doubt that both bulbs would burn out at the same time. Anyone have any ideas on what it might be?

check all the connection make sure they are solid. And i usually get a can of air like that stuff for computers to remove dust or a air compressor and clean the contacts of any debris in them.

Where are the connections that you guys are talking about? Like the connection on the back of the light fixtures or somewhere else?

Yes the connection on the light. Also there is a TSB for this concern for corrosion problems.

OK i played with the wires and the lights came on for a short period of time and then back off im thinking it might be dirty contacts. I also noticed that there is a plug on each side and the drivers side seems to have a second wire coming out of the side but the passenger side has no wire???

Does anyone know where i can find a wiring diagram of the fog lights?

Well so the fog lights are out for good now. I checked and blew out the connections checked the fuses and relays they all seem fine. I'm at college and i don't have a multimeter with me. Any other ideas of what might be causing these problems?

Check the connectors for corrosion, check voltage at the connector, thats about it.

I actually just finished fixing mine. I removed both fog lights from the bumper and removed the rubber boots. I removed the bulbs and used air from a compressor to blow out and excess water and debris. I found that the factory wire that connects to the metal that the buld is connected to was bad. I snipped the wires just next to the factory connector and replaced it. Everything works fine now. I put a couple wraps of electrical tape around the metal housing before I put the boot back on. Now I'm going to lengthen the "breather" hole and route it somewhere higher so the tire quit kicking water in there as well as any deep puddles.

Just trash em, they're horrible lights, you can't even tell if they're on. Get some cheap square aftermarket fog lights and put 3000k HIDs in them and wire up a new switch.
