2000 4runner way to disable alarm

In my 2000 4runner, I need a way to disable the alarm setup (blinking red switch/button by my left knee) I think it is the VS3200 but not sure. Is there a connection in the center console that I can unplug or something else that will disable it but NOT the door locking remote function?

I have tried the valet turn off method but cannot disable it for some reason.

Is it just a blinking led? I had one in my 4runner when I bought it. It was in one of the blank switch covers. I just unplugged it from the alarm unit and took it off. It didn't affect the alarm function anyway.

It is on the bottom left side where your left knee would roughly be.. It is a blinking red light (sometimes) with a button on the bottom side. Aside from the blinking, I need to disable the alarm feature that in turn honks the horns, etc...
I hate that SOB...
