2000 4wd Limited supension questions

New to forum, forums in general, and Toyota. Just purchased a 2000 4wd Limited automatic with 124,000 miles. Runs great seller had car fax and reciepts of recent work done and is a friend of a friend. I paid $7,250. Runs great super clean and for the most part rides great. Haven't taken it off road yet but have noticed in town that the rear bottoms out a little on larger bumps/dips. Someone told me that the suspension bushings probably just need to be replaced. I wonder if new shocks are a good idea and if a guy does that is he better off replacing the struts and the whole shabang? How about sway bars? It rides down the highway smooth even at interstate sppeds of 75mph and seems to handle fine.

Only other malfuntion is in the temp control panel. Sometimes I can't turn the fan off. It doesn't matter if I hit outside temp, mode, or off I just get outside temp. It does have an aftermarket cd player. Is this a common failing or just a wiring glitch.

Worn bushings won't make your truck bottom out... You're shocks are more than likely shot. Pretty typical. If you're not planning on lifting or anything, I'd just replace your shocks.
