For sale is my trusty 2005 4runner limited v6 (4.0) with a few goodies. This truck has taken me everywhere I wanted and has also served as my daily driver. The truck is located in Ottawa Canada but can be brought to upstate New York or the buyer could also fly in.

Some details:

140 000miles
leather interior
v6 4.0 with 5 speed transmission
has toytec superflex hd springs in the rear , eibach springs in the front
bilstein 5100 shocks
SPC upper control arms
custom front bumper
custom full length roof rack with awning and led camp lights
Rock sliders
Front skid plate
snorkel
sleeping platform
high clearance tucked exhaust from the manifolds back
cb radio
2006 projector headlight conversion with hid
16 inch Tacoma steel wheels with 255/85/16 KM2 tires (set of 5 in great condition)

Maintenance done: (from the most recent)
oil change
oem Toyota brakes all around
front LCA bushings with greasable hardware
headgasket with complete engine gasket kit + new timing chains + water pump (all OEM Toyota parts) (completed at 112 xxx miles)


the bad: the truck has had the engine light on for most of the summer (on and off) for a timing sensor . This does not affect how the engine runs at all from my experience. It starts, drives and idles perfectly fine.

Secondly it has some scrapes and dents from off roading.

Lastly, I take this truck out every second weekend without any worries. It has never let me down and I know it has a lot left in it. This truck has impressed a lot of people with its abilities on and off road.

Reason for sale: bought a 2015 trail edition 4runner.

Can you tell more about why you needed to do head gaskets at 112K miles?

Any other rust other than the rear hatch?

Some of the 4.0 v6 motors had a common headgasket leak .Theres a few threads on it.

no other rust than the bottom of hatch.

It's safe to say this is the best deal on any 4runner anywhere in the country. I spent more on my rusty 3rd gen! If I werent in Oregon I'd buy it immediately.
