Has anyone seen the "shadow mica" on a Matrix? Is it a shade of gray?

Yay, I've got a rare color! Looks like Pacific Blue has been moved to the Land Cruiser and the RAV4.

Based on the CMYK, the Shadow Gray looks like this:

Kind of a dark gray, probably a little darker than the current Galactic Gray.

I was thinking that Toyota should make dual exhaust standard on the Sport Edition and optional on the other trims. That would be a cool sport package!

The production startup date for the '06 4Runner is 8/2005 with initial delivery in 9/2005.

OK, that's not really too surprising.

However, the site does mention something interesting about the 4Runner's little brother (or sister), the RAV4. There should be a redesigned RAV for '06 with a 4-cylinder AND a new V6 model.

qs933, maybe the 2007 Camry is going to be the Hybrid Camry that Toyota was talking about.

There are some nice spyshots of the '07 Camry on the toyotanation board. I think that the redesigned Camry will have a hybrid option, which is probably why Toyota hasn't already introduced it in the current Gen5 model.

Makes me think that we're a couple model years away from a Gen2 Highlander. I'm sure all those folks plunking down $35K+ for their '06 Hybrid Highlanders wouldn't be too pleased if a redesigned model appeared for '07.

How does this impact the 4Runner? The current Highlander is two years older than the 4Runner, so we shouldn't see a major redesign of the 4Runner till the Highlander has its turn.

A TRD package with a locker and beefier suspension would be nice but keep dreaming,there's reasons why they lowered the Runners and dropped the locker after the '00 model year since they know less than 5% of all Runners sold maybe go off road but they still should offer dealer installed upgrades for people that want them.
There's just too many owners that like the 20"+ wheel look and soccer moms out there for Toyota to change their sales strategy and they know what crowd buys 4Runners.
how many SUVs are out there for the off roader types?
I've still yet to see oversize wheels on an Xterra which might be the only SUV out there that hasn't caught the attention of the street only crowd.

How long will the X-REAS still be offered?

Is the 4Runner is the only vehicle in it's class with a sport suspension?


I have not seen X-REAS used on any other Toyotas. I don't see any other manufactures offering a similar feature.

It is a nice option and completes the SE package. I just wonder how long Toyota will offer it.
