New Tundra
I live in San Antonio which will build the new tundra. I also am in Real Estate and have sold several of the Toyo managers. They have said the new Tundra is the size of an F250 almost. They said the CEO of Toyo had a movie made about Texas and that the F150/250 is what he wants to take on. So to answer your question, yes I am excited. I just hope they can keep Toyota quality.

To truely compete with the F250 I hope Toyota has made plans to make a diesel engine available at some point.
If they do that, I know some F250 owners who will be more than happy to buy a Tundra.

Somehow I doubt that it will be the size of the F-250. I would be its around the size of the F-150, and later on they will build larger versions based on that platform. Just a guess though
I'm just really interested in the hybrid version.... I know its not going to get 40mpg, but i'll settle for 25!!!
I filled my tank up today with regular and it was $50. That gets kind of old. HOWEVER, I think the 4runner is worth it.

I believe I read it on autoblog.com. I have been trying to find the article ever since I posted so i could link to it but i can't seem to remember where I found it. All the article basically said was that they aren't meeting the power and towing expectations they had set for themselves with a hybrid and are looking towards the possibility of a diesel. I was also informed by a local Toyota dealership that a diesel was possibly in the new version along with a plow prep package of some sort.

If Toyota cannot produce a hybrid Tundra that can tow at least 7,000 lbs (or more) then they might be wise to go with a diesel until they can solve their hybrid/towing issues.

i've seen the 07 Tundra at work before.. its big...it is atleast as big as a F150 if not bigger... i can tell u that.. other than that i cant really say much.. cuz it was all covered up with tarp
