Ooops after i posted I realize that is a 2009 4 Runner...
Have JBL system with amp. For sometime the radio has had intermittent issues. it will happen,then go away for a month or so... it is back worse than ever...
When it is not working....All nav, back up camera, etc works. Radio volume disappears. It will come and go when I hit a bump (I think)... and sometimes just comes and goes. The radio is receiving, and it shows the names of songs, stations, etc. The sound goes off. All functions of the cd player work, can change cd, change track .. but neither the volume button on the radio or the one on the steering wheel work. All functions on the steering wheel work (mode, channel, etc), but volume does not work...
Is this something to do with the amp? or do I possibly have a loose connection?
I first thought it had something to do with hot/cold weather... that was when it used to act up... but has gotten to the point that it happens all the time.
