2012 4runner Entune Limitations

I can successfully connect my iPhone 4s using the USB cable and have no problem (except for a slow startup) streaming via Bluetooth. Of course, the Internet apps don't work over Bluetooth (yet, I hope).

Question, though, I don't see any option for the e-mail setup. It's just grayed out. What's that for? And can you also read texts on the Entune display? That functionality doesn't seem to be enabled on my 4R.

I did update the new flash a couple weeks ago. Iheart Radio is working as are the other couple updates.

Audio quality seems fine on Pandora, etc. As of late, though, I've just been using Songza and Spotify via Bluetooth streaming and not plugging in the USB.

Another gripe, though -- why didn't they leave a hole for the cord to come out of the glovebox?!?

Your text messages should be fixed with IOS6 in fall sometime and I believe not sure 100% it will solve the email issue

Well shoot -- I upgraded to iOS6 beta today and guess what? Entune crashes. Guess I won't be needing that traffic feature after all... hardline tethered or otherwise. Darnit!

Did you update Entune? Just asking . I know there is some on here who has it installed and it works.

I reloaded Entune but Bluetooth still only working for streaming audio. I can now again use Entune via USB.

Is your Internet connection working with Entune via Bluetooth?

No, never has. Just streaming with Bluetooth. I really have to get one of the 2nd gen app radios (P8400BH). I keep talking about it, but haven't done it yet.
