2011 4Runner doing the same

I have a 2011 4Runner purchased in October and mine is doing the same thing. Intermittently loses time, can't lock/unlock the car with the keyless remote. I've tried multiple remotes to make sure it wasn't a battery thing. Last time it happened, I was able to turn the car on and then back off and it resolved on it's own, but just did it again and I've turned the vehicle on and off several times, opened sun roof, closed it, etc. to no avail. Also tried to power on interior lights and they wouldn't come on. Totally irritating!!!

Granted your not from the gulf area, but here is a 2012 electrical system recall.

Do you have a remote starter?

Either way... go to dealer.

Found yesterday that my vehicle is part of the recall actually number one on the list. I didn't know they installed an audiovox remote starter :bash: . I was not impressed but opt to have an Oem remote starter installed instead hopefully a lot better.
