2012 Taillight Replacement Help

I'm trying to replace the passenger side taillight (not the bulb) the entire taillight. There are 2 10mm nuts which I've removed, but from the looks of the new taillight there are plenty of little plastic guides and a couple of plastic clips holding the taillight to the body. I just don't want to wack it, I break this kind of stuff all the time. Anyone know the technique to get this out? Thanks.

pull...when it feels like you're going to break something - pull more.

I went through this a few months ago. The trick is to pull them straight back - and you have to pull hard. Really hard, in fact....just when you're starting to get scared that you're going to break them, the clips release and they pop right out.
