I have the new 20" RIGID E2 Combo mounted up to OP's Bad AzZ mounts, and its a slick setup for sure! I tested it out tonight and OP did a heck of job with his design.

I want to thank OP for taking the time out to design and then make a few more for us to enjoy. Big Thanks!!!!:banana:

On to my first observations with the new E2.... I am not overly impressed with the light output... I believe the grill is blocking a significant amount of light. Has anyone cut out the grill around the light bar and noticed a significant increase in light output?

To put this in perspective, the E2 has more light output than the open SR2 10" combo I had on a Jeep, its just not that much more illumination.

I don't think I want to give up the stealth of this setup unless if it would be a major improvement.

Thoughts?

Thanks for the link and I have read that thread. However he didn't have it behind the grill first that was mentioned and then do the cut-out to compare the light output. It is a super clean install.

The comparison of the light output behind the grill vs unobstructed is what I'm after. Sorry for not being more clear the first time around.

If you are stating I didn't have it behind the grill first, in fact I did.
Look here at the LED LIGHT BAR INSTALL thread. You should see it behind the grill then the grill cut out & faceplate installed.
It made a larger difference that I thought it would.

I really appreciate the kind words, posts like these make all the hard work and late nights worth it!! No corners were cut on these mounts that's for sure!
