I spent a day there this year, and plan to spend 3 days there next year. There is way too much to see and do in a day.

I went this year but I was a little disappointed. It was not that big as I was hoping for. But I did enjoy it and looking at all the rigs and equipment. Everyone was packing up Saturday evening to leave early Sunday morning which made me feel like all the venders just wanted to leave. I had a Moab, Canyonlands trip planned so I stopped at the Expo to on my way to Utah.

No one ever asked for my entrance ticket all weekend. I could of just got in for free. I purchased way in advance also and then my buddy said they were offering discounted tickets at the same day. Camped out for free (no one asked for my camping ticket either). I would of paid but no one ever mentioned anything. But I am glad I paid for the entrance ticket as its a good event and I love overlanding and want to contribute to the event. Wish it was just little more organized.

I do not think it is worth driving long distance for just to see the event IMO. Maybe once every 5 year event for me. My next Utah trip I will plan it with the Expo had hit two birds with one stone like I did this year.

They need to talk to the weather gods so maybe the wind won't be blowing as much next year. The show was great and we had a good time.

Regardless, Flagstaff is an awesome location with tons to see and do in the surrounding areas. I lived their for 5 years and still dream of it every day. Paradise on earth (yes, a little breezy haha):banana:

I wish the event was closer to the time when the FJ Summit takes place. But I might try to go to it next year.

I've gone the past two years.. It's alright you'll have a good time. What I don't get is the price.. The minimum is 20 dollars just to get in for a day, are you shitting me? Like what does that go to, all the yuppy ass dewds with their nice rigs? I think it's a giant money maker for all the big expo guys, but if your down to pay you'll see and learn some cool stuff.
