2014 Owners w/o PREM SR5/TE please read

for those owners that have NON premium package on your SR5 and/or TE package, please check to see if you have on your window sticker

"Heated Mirrors w/TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR"

and confirm that you do NOT have them on your side mirrors.

from what I can tell, even though your window sticker says it has it, its been confirmed by at least one forum member they do not have them.

from what I have seen on posted pictures in the 2014 thread and the 2014 owners thread, those that have non premium SR5/TE do not have turn signal clear lens in the side mirrors compared to the premium models side mirrors.

if you could post a clear day light pic of your side mirror and/or your sticker that would be greatly appreciated.

I have a '14 Trail base, just purchased in CO. No mirror indicators or puddle lamps, and none listed on the sticker.

Long Beach, CA is the port / plant listed. I DO happen to have XM radio and a sharkfin, but I have the premium audio / nav system.

My guess is the website and window stickers were rushed, and the standard / optional equipment got buggered. Toyota may have some digging to do.

I bought a 2014 SR5 4x4 (non-premium) last week. "Heated Mirrors w/Turn Signal Indicator" is listed on the sticker. Port/Plant is Jacksonville, FL. Toyota's 2014 brochure lists heated mirrors w/turn signal indicators as standard equipment. My mirrors do not have turn signal indicators. I'll probably try and contact the dealer today if I have time to see what they say. I wouldn't have paid extra for turn signal indicators, but I am a little concerned if they list them as standard and I don't have them.

Dealer said it was a mistake on the Monroney sticker. Toyota had already sent them a replacement sticker but it arrived after I had already bought the vehicle. There were 3 other cases at this dealership. Toyota is sending the mirrors to the dealer and they'll be installing them for at no expense to me. The way it was explained was Toyota picks up the cost for the mirrors and the dealer picks up the cost for installation.

Wow. I am surprised that Toyota is willing to fix it and surprised that the dealer is having to pick up part of the cost. What about your missing XM Radio? Are they going to fix it too?

Here is my window sticker for my 2014 Base Trail. It looks like it does not have the turn signal mirrors. I am surprised because mine was one of the early ones (I bought it a few weeks ago). However, it does have the XM radio on the sticker, which is not on the car.

I didn't pursue the XM radio issue since I know I won't use it. I had it on my other vehicle and didn't renew the subscription after the trial. I didn't ask about it.

I doubt I would renew it either. I have never had it but it would have to be very good for me to pay for radio. Heck, I even run an outside antenna on my home instead of cable/dish because I no longer want to pay for TV since nothing worth watching is on it anyway.

XM/Sirius is a dying service, they just don't know it.

I get more variety, better choice using the 3500+ songs I have on my cellphone. if I get tired of that, I can use Pandora or the many other apps that give the same thing or more than XM on my cellphone.

and the actual reception isn't that great, heck I even lose signal using a drive thru window if its on the north side of a business.
