2014 Trail light bar help

I just picked up my 14 TE... Traded in my 13 TE... Well i had Defiant Truck Products build my 13 light bar and i love it. I figured i could talk to Paul Fox from Defiant as i have in the past and he could fabricate a new one for the lower grille portion on my 14... Problem being, hes gone and out of business. I contacted tiregate.com which took over Defiants products but they basically said they have no idea how to fabricate... They just took over existing designs. So my question after hours of searching unsuccessfully for someone to fabricate one... Any suggestions? Love the new truck but that lower mouth wide open grille needs a few lights stuffed in it! Thanks as always for the help!

After doing some looking around i found rigid industries makes a replacement grille that has lights built right into it... Looks very nice and made out of stainless so it should be able to handle some off roading. No info on 14 model yet but im sure its just a matter of time. Anyone have this on their 4runner?

OP your old light bar will never ever ever ever fit your new ride, do yourself a favor and donate it to me :wave:

Have you thought about taking apart your front bumper a bit and seeing if there's a way to get it to fit through the new front lower grille design? I would imagine the part where it bolts to is all the same back there so maybe you can get by with just minor trimming of your new lower grille? Only way to know is to try

I did try.... The bracket it attaches to is now behind the bumper cover so only way to make it fit is to cut thru the cover which im obviously not going to do. I love the look of that Rigid grille.... Hope it becomes available for the 14 soon!

How does this attach? I know you have to cut the grill but do you have to cut it all out? Or leave some of the stock grill still in place to attach this.

Or you could install a light bar in lower grille, mine is a Baja Stealth 20" (7,000 lm)..........super bright! Also wired it to come on with high beams :rockon:

Go ahead, flash your high beams when I only have low beams on........I dare ya!:boxer:
