2016 TEP, Black Nav Screen When Shifting From Reverse to Drive

I have 1200mi on my 2016 TEP and it has recently started leaving my Nav screen blank after shifting from Reverse to Drive. When in reverse the camera works fine but I shift to drive and it goes black, I am able to hit Home and it returns to normal function but it has not always done this. Any thoughts on what could have caused this?

Unknown with todays tech, especially since you can bring it back to working. Sounds like software. Take it in for replacement (that's all they seem to do) or at least document the problem for later.
