Hey guys, I wanted to say hi!
This is my first 4R and I made an extreme change trading in my 2014 F Sport IS350 to get into something larger with an equally awful 18mpg. I wanted something I could get into Tahoe/Mammoth/Mt. Charleston without chains and issues in the snow. Also it will be fun to explore the desert around Las Vegas with this car.
Purchasing this car has been something out of a nightmare. I had deposits down 3 times in the western region and every dealership informed me they could not get one in allocation (in white). They refunded my deposit and I moved on to the next dealer. While I was visiting family back in OK/TX/AR I found one in Memphis and was able to secure it for MSRP (not the 4-5k over MSRP that the dealers out west had been quoting). Also the dealer threw in LoJack, mailed crossbars to my house, and paid for sirius/nav/traffic for 3yrs up front. I know its not much but it sure helps. Unfortunately for my break in period I had to drive it back to Las Vegas this week.
Looking forward to getting to know some of you and joining some meets/trail/fishing trips this year.
Shiny side up!
