2016 TRD Pro Ultra White

Hey guys, I wanted to say hi!

This is my first 4R and I made an extreme change trading in my 2014 F Sport IS350 to get into something larger with an equally awful 18mpg. I wanted something I could get into Tahoe/Mammoth/Mt. Charleston without chains and issues in the snow. Also it will be fun to explore the desert around Las Vegas with this car.

Purchasing this car has been something out of a nightmare. I had deposits down 3 times in the western region and every dealership informed me they could not get one in allocation (in white). They refunded my deposit and I moved on to the next dealer. While I was visiting family back in OK/TX/AR I found one in Memphis and was able to secure it for MSRP (not the 4-5k over MSRP that the dealers out west had been quoting). Also the dealer threw in LoJack, mailed crossbars to my house, and paid for sirius/nav/traffic for 3yrs up front. I know its not much but it sure helps. Unfortunately for my break in period I had to drive it back to Las Vegas this week.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you and joining some meets/trail/fishing trips this year.

Shiny side up!

Zac

welcome! I love the white. Husband and I definitely argued between White and Mag Gray, ultimately the White was a 6 week wait and Mag Gray was 5 days, soooo he won. Atleast the Lexus is white, but I still drool over the white 4runners they are just so clean.

I know how the change can be in a way. My husband and I swap cars each month so I go from the 4runner, to our IS350. It's always an adjustment but I don't think I could ever pick between the two!

There are some good group buys in here, check them out! It's a good way to start modding!

Looks great! I went through similar issues buying my last car, '12 Mini Countryman ALL4. Ordered it and it was damaged in transit, 2 dealers had reached their allotment of custom orders, nobody in FL had AWD models or HID lighting, final dealer used their last custom slot for the year to order my car, mid production the Fukushima incident/tsunami hit Japan and they couldnt get my nav unit for 6 months, so after a month I cancelled the nav option.

Buying my 4runner seemed worse. 10 hours at the dealer over 2 days to get it purchased. Finance person couldnt be found, unreasonable numbers, screwed up trade in value, we ended up leaving and they called us back to finally get serious about it. But it was the only black interior 4runner in 400 mile radius.

Glad you finally got yours.

TRD Pro in White

I put a deposit down with a dealer in Jacksonville, FL, about 1 week ago. I got lucky and they called me yesterday. Mine arrives in port on Nov 3rd. I will be trading in my 2014 White FJ Cruiser. My family is very happy to have a little larger and more comfortable ride. Can't wait....

Super cool. I put a deposit down on mine last week...am hoping the 6-8 weeks flies by. I went with Quicksand...will be my first Toyota and I'm looking forward to it. The white looks pretty sick! Congrats!

Man reading some of these nightmares makes me a little nervous. Got the runaround on a Quicksand 4R TRD Pro from the first dealer I visited (Arizona), bad experience, and put money down to "order" one from another dealer in town, not much better of an experience, and was told 6-8 weeks for it to be delivered...hoping I didn't get "sold" a line of BS.

Looks great! My friend's dad just got the base model 2016 instead of the Trail Edition. After seeing this I can tell that that was a mistake on his part..

Awesome! Mine is supposed to arrive to a dealer in CO today!

How are the stock speakers? I am really dependent on a good sound system and was bummed when they wouldnt let me upgrade to the JBL. Thoughts?

Congratulations on the Super White TRD Pro 4Runner.

Enjoy. It rides very well with the TRD Tuned Suspension/Bilstein Coilover Shocks equipped. Rides damn good on the freeway/streets and rough trails.

I feel lucky after reading this post just drove by my local dealer last week and found a 16' TRDP quicksand for 2k under MSRP.

I like the super white also good luck with the new rig!!!!!
