265's and new wheels! need a lift!

well i got my 265 duratracs and procomp 7069 wheels put on the other day and im pretty happy how it turned out! but despite having a 98 with larger coils than the 96,97,00, and 01 4runners im rubbing when the wheel is full turned and i already replaced the bolts to a more flush counter sunk alan head, and messed with the pinch welds but its still rubbing. so now im saving for a lift and i will hopefully have something by the end of summer i wanted to do 99 coils but they arnt much taller than the 98's might get 1/4" lift if im lucky which would be a waste of time and money, might as well do it right! please message me if you know anyone selling some 881 or some 891 coils!

Your right that thing looks lifted already. 265's usually rub on all when fully turned and more so with those aggressive tire tread. Just dont turn so muck, LOL. They look good!!

i've been thinking about starting one but im lazy lol and i dont know where to start! especially when you look at ripcords and COB's build threads that look all neat and organized haha

We all organize them long down the road.

Just start one and post 4 times to reserve room for yourself. Then later you can edit your first post to look nicer.

Love the new look, especially the color. Stellar blue pearl I think is the name of the paint, but it def looks great with those black wheels.

What's the offset on those wheels if you don't mind me asking? Or are you running spacers?

thanks! i think the color is cool steel metallic they only made it for 97, an 98

are you getting some trubble with your pinch welds and the bolt on the driver side in reverse?

no spacers, i think the offset is -12 with a backspacing of of 4 they push the tires out pretty well, im trying to find some limited flares now
