300whp Possible?

Has anyone successfully been able to get 300whp out of a 5vzfe with a trd supercharger with supporting fuel mods, lc engineering cams, meth injection etc.. I have heard rumors on tacoma forums but i would like to know if something like this is possible for a daily driven 4runner. THe highest hp numbers i have seen so far after research on 3rd gen 4runners was by gadget and that was in the 240-250hp mark and he had quite a few supporting mods with the trd supercharger.. If just totally out of the question what is the highest you guys have seen out of the trd?

As I just mentioned to the guy looking for turbo 3rz info...your best bet is to go stand alone. The stock ECU is so restrictive. To make big power and not blow up your motor.....gonna cost some $$$.

You are talking about an over 100% increase in rear wheel horsepower! That is not possible without tearing into the motor, and if you were to pull it off, I doubt it would last more than a few thousand miles. For the amount of work required, I would just do a V-8 Swap and throw a S/C on that. You will have a more reliable setup and have a lot more torque, which is what you really need in an SUV like ours.

On customtacos.com the only guy I remember doing 300 rwhp and 355 torque was TRDOLMAN. He is in the owners gallery with a mod list, but hasent been on the board for a few years I believe.

damn kevin444 got some amazing numbers from that setup, i wonder if that custom exhaust, pullys, efan, and the supra injectors as opposed to the 7th injector kit gave him the incredible numbers?? Havent really seen any close to that!

I'm betting he squeezed that last bit of power out with the mater/meth kit in addition to all the other supporting mods. (i'm also jealous of the lce flywheel).
supra injectors and a standalone, versus a URD option is kind of just preference. either will get you enough fuel to handle the 6-10psi the trd can put out.

A supercharger alone with a big pulley would have a substantial increase in overall power regardless right? And can this really be run on this set up alone without blowing the motor or trans?

dont look for a # but look for a powerband.
#'s can be made with a couple key stroke to the dyno.
do you know what 300whp is? a lot of people tend to go for a # when in reality they dont need or have a use for such power. just think a stock EVO is rated around 300hp now add another 1k lbs to make the weight of a 4runner

So true, and what brand of dyno would you like to see 300hp show up on? Numbers don't really mean much unless you are comparing numbers off the same dyno.

dynojet is industry standard,
Dyna pak
mustang
dyno dynamics the last 2 are the heart breakers for peeping seeking #'s.

always remember a dyno is a tuning tool and should be used as such.
