Oh of course..285 is a 33 to everyone till I call it a name haha. Im just jokin wit everyone. They just looked small to me so I wanted to upgrade. I cant decide if im going to need bodylift or not. I have them mounted in the back and they are fine but not sure about the front..

There is a guy in Colorado running 305's on rims with a 6mm offset, and a 3" Toytec lift. His rub. Your's will probably rub a little worse. He even beat the floor in with a hammer, still rub.

Haha I think I know that guy Just to clarify a couple of things. I didn't pound out the firewall and the offset is a -6mm (negative) not a positive 6mm. It was fun wheeling with ya Shawn! I'm still impressed that you caught up to us. You supercharged? (JK) Can't wait to go again!

No bodylift. I just pounded the pinchweld and took a little plastic off. Only rubs at full lock on the frame while backing up.

3rd gens and 4th gens are different. a-arms are different, wheel wells are different.

Thanks to both. I love the way they look. I still have plenty of room clearing the A-arm thanks to 1.25 wheel spacers. I think I may be one of the only ppl without a bl fitting the 35's. Not sure though.

Oh yeah and the stock gears and 35's I honestly cant feel much different than the 33's. I think the 4.56's will be just fine.

yes, he doesnt have a body lift, the biggest tire you can put on a stock truck is a 31

Yeah about 3'' on the coilovers. There not fully maxed out on the front but there kinda close.

iv got to say that i really doubted that 35"s would fit. i have SAW coils up front and an ome setup in the rear and i found out that i needed a 1" body lift to clear my 285-75-r16 bfg's. i found this out when i smashed a rain rut on a dirt road to go wheeling in my local hills. the tire came up on the left side front so far that it smashed the bottom of the fender and broke the trim off and dented up the fender metal. it was all fixed with some gorilla glue on the trim peice and i bent the bottom of the fender back down. i guess my front end must have close to 10" of travel


just be careful and id say install the bl

Did you remove your fender flares?

I am thinking about doing that so that I can see my front tires for wheel placement. If so can you post up some pics of how it looks with the holes in the body after you cleaned it up.

Looks great. Makes me consider 285/75s without replacing my stock 7" rims.
