This may sound crazy but is there any way to actually turn the display off?

Go to apps, setup, bottom of screen is button to turn off.

Is it formatted FAT32? I'm not a MAC guy so I'm not familiar with how they would format a USB drive.

If you need to format a jump drive on a Mac, plug in the jump drive and open up Disk Utility. There is an Erase tab which has options for how many times you want to clean it, the format you want it to be (MS-DOS (FAT)), etc. Just make sure you pick the jump drive and not your hard drive, that'd be bad .

This is my favorite image in this thread, but would love it to fill the screen. Does anybody know the exact dimensions by pixel of the 2014-2016 entune screen such that it could be cropped to fill the whole screen? I've tried the 800 x 480 that has been mentioned and still got black bars on the sides.

Doesnt that just display the "Display Off" Image though? I mean is there a way to actually fully turn off the display? No Images, no glowing black screen, just off.

You're definitely right that it displays the display off image. But if I have the default all black image selected as my Display Off Image, it turns the screen off for me. Or it least it looks like it does, the backlight goes away.

Alright, played around a little bit and the correct ratio is height about 52-53% of width. That seems to fill the screen to all 4 edges. For all the time I spent dialing in the size, I still can't get the startup image to work properly. When I startup, it still shows the default image for a few seconds, then my custom startup image flashes for a split-second. Then the paragraph long safety disclaimer comes up then it goes to the normal screen. The screen off image works fine. Not sure what's going on.

Anybody had this problem or know a fix? Also, any way to make it stop showing the safety disclaimer paragraph?

out of curiosity, does anyone (perhaps [MENTION=101664]ma_mu_[/MENTION] can help) know what that the Kanji translates to in this TRD graphic? i've seen it before but can't pin down what it means.

also does anyone have a formated Katakana TOYOTA or "teq" graphic formatted to work on the starup/displayoff screen that they would like to share?
