Hi all. My first post, but wanted to help anyone around the Bay Area get a TRD Pro if they have a hard time finding one. Yesterday, I just put a $1000 deposit for a Quicksand one. It will arrive next month!!! I just called this dealership and they told me they already sold one which I saw on their website. He calls me back in an 1 hour and said another one is coming in (didn't say if anyone backed out or not) and was not spoken for. I am getting it for MSRP. There are a multiple dealers around here asking for 2500-5000 over MSRP (even for used ones). They have sold one for that price, but the other 3 are still sitting on their lots over a month now.
I have been looking for awhile. I've gone to many dealerships trying to order one and have been told not possible. Apparently they are only allotted a certain number per dealership? Costco was no help for a TRD Pro in CA as like only 1 dealership is participating and they have none coming in and could not order me one. I did try ordering one in NV, but it's been over 1 month and he still said can't take deposit yet. I think I'm getting a run around from him. Oh well.
Anyways, Sunnyvale Toyota called me today and said they have a Quicksand coming in soon which is available. They are selling it 100 below MSRP. If anyone is serious looking let me know and I can give you her contact info. I think it will be gone very shortly. She wanted a deposit right away.
Can't wait for my TRD Pro to arrive!!
