No. You weren't denied a standard item. It's an extra you have to pay for. Or buy a real roof rack. Just saying.

Already on it!!! Lol... but it would've been nice to have them. I was thinking if using my OEM rack for my 1968 Nimrod tent trailer, but no cross bars, so it wouldn't work out as good as I'd hope.

So, has it been determined if these trucks are clear coated?
Looks like the gas station attendant must have nicked the side of my truck by the gas cap. If it was a hard smack I would have noticed it.
Anyway, I now have a bit of a paint chip. Why the hell is this truck's paint so damn fragile. It's really pissing me off.
I'm about to plastidip the entire truck in matte white if this keeps happening.
Anyone else having this fragility issue?

When I bought '10 Limited I *****ed about lack of enough clear coat. Can't say I notice a difference between my Limited and Pro. They just don't put a lot on, cost savings I was told back then.

The white paint is a single stage, no clearcoat. All other colors are a base/clear.

All - Any guess on how much an autobody shop would charge to do a clearcoat job on a 4Runner. Not the ideal solution, but if the paint is a fragile as people are experiencing it may be an option for some.
Yeah I got my baja rack within two weeks as well. My first rack was a full Gobi, it took about 8 weeks.
