But if you lease or finance it, you're sales tax is included in the monthly payment. What's illegal about it?
I'm thinking he probably meant they weren't willing to change the sales tax from what their local tax rate is to whatever his rate is....this I can understand.

The Nevada dealership I just bought from just adjusted the sales tax to my county's and it'll be paid every month with the payment.
 
Okay so I scored a Cement today in Round Rock Texas(North of Austin) Just a heads up they have another one that was still there when I left a couple of hours ago. I couldn't believe it. Someone even test drove it while I was there and didn't buy it. They won't hold it you have to physically be there to buy it and its first come first serve. If you're in or around Austin and want a Cement jump on this ASAP. Tell Deborah John who just bought the other Cement sent you. Also supposedly Red McCombs Toyota in San Antonio has one but its not a Cement.

I was also told there are only 10 coming to Canada right now. I was lucky the dealer called the regional distributor and assured me I will get one.
As for there only being 10 for all Canada I dont know if that is the first wave or he was just blowing smoke up my A$$ but he told me after I put the deposit.
As for yours coming in a week I hope you are right, did you get a VIN # because I was told they are nt even made yet and would be late march or April before I will get mine. If you got a VIN# maybe but if not dont hold your breath because it is not made yet.

I'm in the same boat. Mine actually arrives next Wednesday and I take it home Friday. The manager tells me theres a moonroof but he does not seem very confident in his answer. Either way I'm still taking it home next week but the suspense with the moonroof is killing me! Really a plus if there's one. Guess if no1 chimes in by next Wednesday I'll have the answer for everyone!

I highly doubt the 10 thing. I know of 3 sold in Calgary already. I know because I've been calling around Albert before I found mine here in Edmonton. When I say 3 I mean 3 deliveried. (So the dealership told me unless the guys full of it). I get mine next Friday. Could be 10 I guess but me knowing of 4 driving around Alberta by end of next week I'm going to assume it's more than 10?

Red Mccomb in Texas has already gotten like 6 or 7 trd pros if anyone is in that area. It's like it's all going to them lol

Grrr mine was spose to be in on the 8th. Just was told pushed back to 15th. For us Canucks I asked him about sunroof. He was 90%. His thought is the US sr5 platform does not have a sunroof and that is the platform the Pro is built on where as the Canadian sr5 does have a sunroof. Same with the Taco pros. Us Taco pros have sunroofs where as Canadian versions dont.

Haha, same for California.. If you gotta drill it at least you get to do it or find a better mount
