4runner TRD Pro

Probably was asking if you had to do any trimming, cutting, liner push back.

None. The stock trimming that the port had already done seemed to more than suffice. Tire doesn't even come close to contact. Yes, I even checked the tire sizes again to make sure it was all the righ size:rockon:

Flying into Dallas to pick her up tomorrow AM!! Can't believe I decided to pick up the phone to locate one AND was able to ffind her earlier this week... can't wait!!!!

Yes that's what I was asking. If no cutting was involved this definitely looks like a kit I want. I'm looking to get a identical setup to this.

Wanted moar meat!

Sold the OEM tires--helped offset the cost of the new ones greatly.

Mind sharing how much of a return you got? I am debating whether it is better to ride them out before going for 285s.

Current plan is to get 3/4 spacers up front for the stock265s and then to upgrade to 285s with a cornfed when new tires are needed

Curious how much you got for the OEM tires as well...Think Im going KO2s in the same size as OEM... not doing additional lifts and the 265 still have the C load rating so they should ride the same as the OEM without affecting gas mileage.

i found a place here that will do $800 installed on 4 new KO2s... hoping to sell Nittos for around 500?

Massaging the sound system

Definitely would like to put a new speaker set up in the Pro. It comes in this Saturday. Has anyone have any success replacing the sound system?

Know there's a couple of threads on it but asking the TRD Pro folks :)

I just bought a 2017 TRD Pro and have upgraded my sound system using the stock deck. Any top quality sound installation place can use gizmos such as the JL Audio "Fix" and "Twk" (and others also.....Audison) to unleash the capabilities of the OEM sound system. Of course you will need to amplify and buy some quality speakers and a sub to get the best sound, but I have mine installed and I love it so far. Put component speakers in the front and coaxials in the rear doors. No need to have hatch speakers unless you just want overkill. Most of the sound in a good "well timed" system comes from the front speakers anyway. Dynamat the doors also.

Makes sense. Mind if I ask how much you spent on your system upgrade? Seeing what's reasonable around here...

Seems like lots of dealers are getting updates on new allocations/deliveries. I have a deposit @ MSRP on a cement at 2 dealerships in Washington and 1 dealership in Nevada. Once I figure out who is getting the delivery first, I will have 2 deposits that I'll be backing out of, leaving room for anyone on here that wants my spot in line. PM me if you'd be interested. Of course there will be a $5000 finders fee  jk

Hey guys, been lurking on here for a bit now trying to decide between a TRD Pro 4Runner or Tacoma. Ended up putting deposit down on a cement 4Runner a couple weeks ago after test driving a Tacoma and realizing how horrible the 3.5 and transmission is in it.

Just spoke with Lakeland Toyota and confirmed there is a Barcelona Red one unclaimed there if anyone is looking for one. Person I spoke with sent me pictures and confirmed it was not presold.

Here's to hoping my cement comes in sooner than later.

Sold Stock Nittos for 500. Helped cover about half the cost of the new tires. I'll take it!

Sold for 500 cash. Paid for half the set of the new ridge grapplers.

Just got off the phone with my dealer. My Cement is set to be at the port on April 10th with local delivery a week later. Anyone else get delivery updates today?

Just got the call that my cement left port and is on the truck.... 3hr drive from Port to dealer. I am hoping to get the call any day now. Not sure if there is any processing or anything to delay once it arrives at the dealership.

My car is also in port processing which was delivered at port as of 2/7. I double checked with sales person and they just finished the shipment from 1/31.

Same here. It'll be almost a MONTH since mine allegedly arrived in Portland on the 7th of February. Still waiting.

Ask you dealer to get you a screen shot of the dealer daily to see status

It's exciting watching all these Cement Pros dropping in but it is getting very frustrating waiting for dealer to get "allocated" mine This chick just got the word another month ahead and is pondering "what the hell you mean they MAY allocate my Runner"!
