4th Gen Sport Wheels on a 5th Gen LE??

New guy here, so go easy. I just purchased a 2011 LE, Silver, LOVE IT, other than the wheels. My girlfriend happens to have a 08 Sport and she likes the new LEs wheels, and I am wondering about just swapping them.

I have checked and the overall dims on the tire/wheel are very close, shouldn't be a concern going either way, just wonder if the wheels themselves will swap without issues on either vehicle.

I don't see why this would be an issue. I'm pretty sure the brake calipers aren't any thicker on the 5th gen than the 4th and the wheel offsets are probably the same. Swap them and take pics.

Was talking to the dealership today, and ask them about doing this, and they came back with something about the hubs being different sizes and the rims could not swap. Bolt patterns are confirmed the same, so what does the hub size have to do with this?

I'm leaning towards this being BS, as the very net thing they told me is that the only rims that will work on both 4th and 5th are the Rock Warriors, and they wanted $1700 for 4 of them. HAHAHAHAHA.

Yep....your dealership is FOS!
They fit fine as long as you don't use a really wide tire .
I have a set off a 2006 4Runner Sport with 285/70/17 BFG AT's and they fit fine. The backspace is 5 or 5.25 with the rim being 7.5" wide compared to stock Limited wheels at 4.5 backspace and 7" wide. I'm using one as a spare up underneath.
IMO.....They would fit better with some spidertrax adapters/spacers to move them outward to make up for the greater backspace of the 4th Gen wheels.

Looks much better than the LE wheels. To each his own, but for my taste, those LE OEM rims are way too blingy.
