The Gobi isn't very tough to do, a friend and I did mine in just a few hours. Search the forum, but there are two very detailed posts: one for removing the factory rack and the other for installing the Gobi. Worked out great

Was hoping not to travel as far as San Bernadino. Has to be a shop in LA that can do the work. Nothing complicated. Just looking to see if anyone has recommendations in the 30 mile zone.

Demello Offroad in Riverside. Having a shop install a 4runner with KDSS won't be fun.

You have KDSS. Make damn sure the shop you decide to go with understands KDSS. A that they have actually worked on trucks with KDSS. I had a shop tell me they understood it. And all they did was screw it up during my install. Their ignorance required me to get my KDSS system recharged and bled. Get a Toyota dealer to give you a quote on that work. ($3,000ish)
