5th Gen Wheel & Tire Thread

How do you like the AT Adventures? I'm looking at probably going that route since I spend a lot of time on the highway. Pretty quiet and stable?

I took a 700 mile road trip a couple days after getting these tires, and I am very pleased with them. I have not noticed any increase in road noise. The tires are super stable (but I was coming from the significantly narrower LE tires).

I originally was going to get Bridgestone AT Revo 2s, which I have on my truck and like, but after doing some research I could not turn this tire down. Everywhere I looked it got rave reviews, and scored better that almost every other comparable tire in all categories, including noise and wet conditions. They were not cheap though.

Donezo lol.

Negative, I just liked the wider stance.

I guess I'll add my most recent set of wheels lol.

Some pics trying on shoes from a friend's tundra. I just bought this stock 4runner over the weekend. Trying to get a feel for what wheel size, offset, and tire size I want. These are Fuel boost 20x9 -12 offset with 285/55/20 Toyo open country a/t. My runner is a 4x4 at stock height. For now :hiding:

Consider moving to 17's if you plan much off roading. If your and urban jungle dweller, 20's are fine.

On a serious note, are there any 33-34" winter tires around? The MTRs really, really suck on packed snow and ice. Only thing I have seen are P rated 285/70/17 Blizzak DM-V1

Nokian has the Hakkapeliitta LT2 in a LT285/70/17 also.

Great thread for people inquiring about tires/wheels fitment and lift. Since I get a lot of pm about my setup, I'll post it here.

Here's Mine...........

One pic is my 2011 SR5
One pic is my 2015 SR5

The 2011 was totaled. All the specs are the same on both, as I put all the stuff from the 11 to the 15.

Icon coilovers w/ uca's c/o's are not cranked very high, no rear lift just icon omegas w/ stock springs.

Body mount chop along with liners moved forward. front mudflaps removed and inner liner cut and fender mount folded in.

Spidertrack wheel spacers

Forged TRD Wheels 17 in x 7.5 in x 6mm offset

295/70-17 Nitto Terra Grapplers

Zero rubbing except very minor rubbing at full compression in the top of wheel well.

I have some 17 x 8 KMC beadlocks on the way but, I am trying to figure out tire size for my new wheels. Thats why I've been eyeballing this thread. Considering Toyo AT2's 285/75-17 is anyone running these?? I'm digging this thread.........
