Installed some Stealth Custom Series Wheels along with Cooper Discoverer ST MAXX 255/80R/17 tires. Slight run at full lock on front when bouncing (mud flap extension - to be removed.)

I'm a fan of Volk wheels. Had a genuine set of TE37x on my 07 FJ...

I don't see the Volk decals on your set. Are these genuine volks or BFD's?

even the valve caps are legit Rays. =)

The TE's lips extends further out and the faces of the spoke design is recessed in and the edges are smoother. Also, the spokes also stretches out further before it makes that bend. I can usually tell the difference between the two.

Love your 4runner! Wow. No real rubbing with stock suspension and 285s. I was thinking I would have to get 265 KO2s. How do the E load rating tires feel to you vs. the stock P metric? I am about to change out my stock limited wheels and wonder how the added weight and stiffness of the E rating tires affects day to day driving. Right now my limited is fairly quiet but maybe a bit bouncy.

Yeah, it depends on the tires. my 275 cooper has wider thread width and are more squared of a tires. Also the wheels were -12 offset so it rubbed on full reversed more so now then when i first got them. As for the 285 BF, I've gained 12mm clearance since the wheels are 0 offset and even though, the tires are taller and should be wider, it's not since the width of the thread is narrow, it gave me enough clearance of the body mount. Only on fast full lock i may rub very slight. I believe it makes more contact with my liners in reverse since it's taller about 0.6". As for the ride, I would say, my 20s are smoother then the 18s. I didn't notice the complaint that some claim the limited was firm and rough until i had the 18s in E load. I can feel the roughness and bumps now but to me it's not unbareable, just the 20s were smoother.

Love my 17x8.5 Fuel Octane wheels with 265 70 R17 Bfg (BFgoodrich) KO2

Previous posters have stated that the 265 70 R17 did not make a difference vs. the stock limited pizza cutters. In my opinion this is not true at all. My 265 KO2s completely transformed my 2015 4x4 4Runner Limited into a much meaner, cooler vehicle. Now to contemplate a lift.

Note: Even with the 265s I do get a very slight rub on the front tires when in reverse. Looks like it is rubbing on the part of the plastic wheel liner closest to the bumper and should not be hard to heat up and deform.

Nice looking ride. I am looking at a very similar set up except with Fuel Octane 17x8.5 with -5 offset. I'm disappointed to hear that it does not give a wider tire look to the limited. I would run 275's but then I would have to run an E load rated tire (unless I go with Duratracs). The 4Runner gets piss poor mileage as it is and extra weight is not going to help (not to mention the added stiffness). Darn those Toyota designers and engineers.

Definitely a great improvement over the stock Limited's pizza cutters that come stock. The circumference if not larger however. I was in the same predicament looking at the KO2's in 275, only E rated available, more expensive and heavier. I've done 2 fill ups since I got it and it looks like I lost about .9 mpg with the new wheel/tire set up. Was at 17.1 and am now at 16.2.

I still haven't had a chance to take decent photos, but here's my relatively new setup:

Wheels: Procomp 7069 17x9 4.75 backspace/-6mm offset
Tires: Goodyear Duratrac 285/70/17, D
Suspension: ICON Stage 5, but with their tubular UCA and no trailing arms yet.
Body Mount Chop: None
Tire rub: Haven't wheeled it with this setup yet, but on the street I've only noticed it once, but I was turning and braking spiritedly and simultaneously.
Fenders: Trimmed about 1/2" on that bottom front lip
Mud flaps: Removed for now

Nice ride. I'm just curious what's on your trailer hitch?
