5VZFE Engine Bearings

Sup guys,

Ok, I am a bit confused on a few things while getting ready to put my 5VZFE back together. The block and crank were in very good shape to start with, so the block only was lightly honed and cleaned, nothing more. The crank was not turned or material removed off of it.

So, my machinist measured the crank and main bores, and gave me the measurements (block stamping were rotted and could not be read). The machinist said, "get Mark 3 bearings across the board." So, I called Toyota and they have No.1 Mark 3, No.2 Mark 3, but no No.3 or No.4 Mark 3 bearings. Do I order (1) No.1 Mark 3 and (3) No.2 Mark 3 bearings? I know some say use Taiho Standard bearings, but what is the measurement of those standard bearings?

Here are my measurements for reference that the machinist measured:

Thanks Joelzy!

Yeah, I would be curious to see what bearing sizes you used. Were they OEM Toyota or ACL, King, etc...

I know The YotaShop sells Taiho Bearings (which are the same ones Toyota uses), but their website just says STD, 0.10, 0.20, and 0.30 sizes. I'm curious what STD (Standard) size is for these bearings?

Unfortunately i couldn’t find anything with sizes but i found part numbers so maybe that will help, i’ll try looking more up when im on the computer.

The machine shop ordered the pistons, rods and rings as my block needed a bore and while they were at it, they got the bearings and thrust washers as well so i never had to figure out the size. they just handed me a few boxes of stuff with my block, heads and crank and i was on my way to rebuild.

I do remember there being 2 different bearings but dont have any pics of the parts or measurements unfortunately
