Ok, I am a bit confused on a few things while getting ready to put my 5VZFE back together. The block and crank were in very good shape to start with, so the block only was lightly honed and cleaned, nothing more. The crank was not turned or material removed off of it.
So, my machinist measured the crank and main bores, and gave me the measurements (block stamping were rotted and could not be read). The machinist said, "get Mark 3 bearings across the board." So, I called Toyota and they have No.1 Mark 3, No.2 Mark 3, but no No.3 or No.4 Mark 3 bearings. Do I order (1) No.1 Mark 3 and (3) No.2 Mark 3 bearings? I know some say use Taiho Standard bearings, but what is the measurement of those standard bearings?
