Those eBay bumpers are definitely metal. Haha
No reason to get plate bumpers if you're not planning to use the rig for much off-road.
Definitely don't like line-x myself, and do think color-matched bumpers would look great [emoji1360]
I also agree the way you spent your money was the best decision [emoji1362]

I shoot just as accurately with the flat base as I do with the factory ext (at the range).
I ordered a +1 and +2 base pad

I have average size hands so it doesn't bother me too much
