Awesome, just awesome.
Tired of shifting gears? How did you decide on the 3.4?

I didn't see if you needed to do any rust protection to the frame? Is that an issue where you live?
Nice work! Any plans on swapping for a solid front axle? I’m just getting started on my project (87 runner) and I’m debating on whether the SAS is worth the work.

After removing the dipstick hole plug in the side of the block, and installing a T100 tube and dipstick I needed to plug the oil pump housing hole where the original 99 4Runner dipstick was located. I used a Dorman 555-007 13.7mm freeze plug.

I'm using Chilkat Designs conversion motor mount brackets for the swap. The original mount was .190" behind the A/C compressor bracket, and the new much beefier conversion brackets were substantially thicker. This was going to create an issue with alignment on the other bolts for the compressor bracket. I just used a Sawzall to remove the material on the comp bracket, and everything lined back up perfectly.
