My automatic shifts at the proper points, great. Now second to third is a bit harsh. I did some research and it seems that the shift points are controlled by the electronics but the LINE pressure is controlled by the throttle cable. Do any of you have experience adjusting the throttle cable to the transmission (4x4, were all 1st gen 4runners 4x4 by the way?). My logic is that the shifting is harsh because the line pressure dictated by the throttle cable is higher than necessary. I'll get in there an mess with it soon, any words of advice?
