92 2nd gen- rear wheel anti-lock speed sensor

It just hit me as I'm now looking to start the electrical setup for the elocker mod I have a speed sensor as part of the original rear wheel anti-lock system to deal with. For the guys that have done the mod what did you do with the speed sensor?

First, did you swap the entire e-locker axle or just the e-locker 3rd member?

The speed sensor threads into a hole in the 3rd member housing, the part that you are replacing. To get it to work you'll have to drill and tap your new 3rd member in the same spot. Kind of a hassle, but shouldn't be too hard to do. Just make sure you catch all the drilling/tapping chips.

Or you can just live without the rear wheel ABS. It's no great shucks as a "real" ABS system, anyway. Remove the light bulb in your instrument panel and you'll be good to go.

The correct 3rd member housing has a raised area for the sensor. There isn't enough material for the sensor. Bummer
