Hey guys, I am new to this and any forum, so it is nice to be here and I hope you guys can maybe give me some advise.
I have a 95 2wd 4runner. I was having a brake problem (brake pedal was very hard to press down and bring the car to a stop) and diagnosed the problem as a bad brake booster. After some help from Youtube, replaced it with no problem and the brakes are back to working as they should. BUT, as soon as I did this "fix" now the brake lights and the tail lights do not come on. The top brake light (the one above the rear window) does work. Checked the fuse and it seems fine. The only thing that I think it could be was the brake switch, but seems weird that it would just go out right after switch out the booster. Everything seems put together like before. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or has any suggestions. I was going to go ahead and get a new switch ($15) but figured I would check with you guys first. Thanks.
