You seem to have the answer I'm looking for. I tow my sportboat (and sag then) and do some infrequent 4x4'ing but don't want to have the street ride stiffer than it is now... millerrad1651 have you found much of a change in ride quality with the 906's? With that, did you do any changes to the front end?
I ran stock springs in front, OME 906's in back, stock struts all around, so I think I'm qualified to comment on this. The rear did stiffen up, but it wasn't a bad thing. The ride was still very comfortable, you just didn't have as much body roll in corners, or squat under acceleration. It rode more like a truck, but a very comfortable on-road truck, and it definitely improved the feel offroad as well. The only downside IMO was the price, which isn't much in the grand scheme of suspension mods, considering you don't need to change anything else.
I say do it, if you aren't happy there is a huge market for used 906's on this board, they don't last long.
