Access to hold hinge mounts?

Access to hood hinge mounts?

I need to add grounding straps across the hinges for the hood, doors and rear lift gate (it's a ham radio thing).

Before I tear apart everything, has anyone done this already and can you give me some pointers to make the job easier? I don't want to remove the entire rear cowling, just loosen it enough to move out of the way and remove the side trim so I can access the hood hinge mounting bolts hidden in the fender area.
