I'm pretty happy with it, I kindof rushed the paint job because I'm impatient but that can always be redone or touched up.

That is BEAUTIFUL.

Did you buy it in white? Red? Black? How would you paint it to make it resistant to weather/environment?

:thumb: I bought it in black and hit it with gray primer, sanded, gray primer and sanded again, then black and then shiny red. All rattle can...didn't really think to much into weather resistant but it's held up well to everything except a rock a big rig sent my way. It took a chip out of the paint so I'm going back through the whole process of sanding and painting.

Damn rocks got my windshield too... :crybaby:

No bueno! Those damn semis and rock shooting! Did the emblem attach ontop of the Toyota emblem with 3M? I'm getting one and I don't think I will get it as pretty as your's! How did you hit the small little areas that are black?

Right. The emblem is a replacement for the toyota OEM so you will take that off, clean off the 3m tape (alcohol works) and put this in, it has the tabs to hook right in. I did use two small pieces of double sided 3m to secure it in place because there was a little movement.

I need to redo mine but the reason it's taking me a while to just do it is because those small areas were a pain but doable (I'm procrastinating). I used some painters tape and cut it meticulously. Time consuming but worth it.
